Classes

Combo Classes (Available ages 3-6)

Tap/Jazz/Ballet– A little of this and a little of that.  We combine all three disciplines to develop a well rounded dancer.

Cheer/Tumbling- This is a great class for those who need to get the wiggles out!  They will learn jumps, cheers, and beginner tumbling skills. (For ages 7 and up see description for Cheer/Tumbling below.)

Hip Hop Classes– Students receive proper warm up and learn the latest moves. These students learn fun choreography while enjoying today’s top music charts.

Tap/Jazz– Dancers learn tap and jazz technique. Lessons include warm up, conditioning, and skill training. Students will expand their dance vocabulary and work to increase their skill level.

Ballet– Students are taught the foundations of dance. Dancers will receive vigorous training and technique.  Students will work on technique and expand their dance vocabulary.

Dance Team Skills/Technique/Conditioning– This dance class focuses on developing a dancer’s skills and increasing difficulty in skill level. Dancer’s will receive ballet and jazz technique and conditioning exercises.

Cheer/Tumbling– In this two hour long class students will be taught the proper technique to execute basic motions, jumps, and tumbling. While learning cheers students will gain the confidence to perform with outstanding stage presence and attention commanding energy. This class will provide everything needed to get students game/competition day ready. Be ready to get pumped up this is a high energy class.

Lyrical– Lyrical is a ballet-based technique that allows a greater range of movement than the strict body lines and foot work in traditional schools of ballet. Lyrical exposes dancers to a wide range of techniques that fosters versatility. This class focuses on centering, strengthening the body, increasing flexibility, improving balance, proper placement, body alignment, fluidity and emotion. The dancer learns to let the music and their own passion guide the movement. The class will let you express yourself through dance and music, often times the choreography tells the story of the music.

Horton Technique– This modern dance class helps to strengthen and align the body with the use of: flat backs, descent and ascent, lateral stretches, release swings, leg swings, deep lunges, coccyx balance, stag position, primitive squat, and T positions.

Folklorico– Dancers will learn terminology and technique of dance influenced by the different regions in Mexico and some South American countries.

Zumba– (Ages 18+) This is for the dancer or non-dancer who is looking to break a sweat and have fun while working out! Learn fun Latin inspired dance moves while receiving a great cardio workout in the process.
