Dress Code

Per our studio guidelines, all students are expected to wear the proper attire for class for every class. If a student comes to class without proper dress attire they will receive a warning. If a student should come to class again with the incorrect dress attire, they will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to watch class and take notes or do a separate daily assignment like terminology at the teacher’s discretion. 

Tap/Jazz/Ballet Combo Ages 3-4 & 5-6

  • Any color leotard and tights
  • Pink Ballet Shoes
  • Black Tap Shoes (Mary Jane Style)
  • Hair must be pulled out of face in a pony tail or a bun

Cheer/Tumble Combo Ages 3-4 & 5-6

  • T-shirt
  • Bike shorts/Yoga Pants
  • Tennis Shoes *Dancers perform in white tennis shoes*
  • Hair must be pulled out of face in a pony tail or a bun

All Level 1 and up Tap/Jazz Classes

  • Black Leotard
  • Black Jazz Capri Pants/Bike Shorts
  • Black or Skin Colored Tights
  • Black Tap Shoes (Oxford Style)
  • Black Jazz Shoes
  • Hair in pony tail or bun
  • During colder months dancers may wear jackets but will be expected to remove them after warm-ups. 

Prima Ballet and Ballet Level 1 and Up

  • Black Leotard and Pink Tights
  • Black Bike Shorts or Black Ballet Skirt
  • Pink Ballet Shoes
  • Hair in NEAT Bun

Level 1 Tumbling and Up 

  • Black Leotard
  • Black Leggings or shorts
  • Footless or Transition tights
  • Hair pulled back in ponytail
  • No shoes. No jewelry. No baggy clothes. 

Lyrical/Musical Theatre/Contemporary

  • Black Leotard or black sports bra
  • Black Shorts or Leggings
  • Any color footless or transition tights
  • Barefoot or Foot Undies

Folklorico/Flamenco

  • Black Leotard
  • Any color practice Skirt
  • Black Folkorico/Flamenco Shoes
  • Hair in NEAT Bun

All Levels Hip Hop and Jazz Funk

  • T-shirt or Tank Top
  • Baggy pants or sweats. NO SHORT SHORTS!!!
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Hip Hop Hair Pulled Out of Face
